Programming Practices

We recently did the programming practices topic. It was mainly just practice to get our skills better. Not much of it was anything new. We pretty much learned almost all of it sometime in the past. Some of it though was good to remember because its very helpful in our game. Well I really cant say anything else, so I guess that's all for now.

Action Scripting

We did the intro to action script. Script assist pretty much has its own library of scripts. Its nothing major, it just has the basic movements and functions. You can go in the library and mess around with codes to make it how you want things to work. Its really hard to work with codes to get it exactly how you want things to turn out. Well theres not really much more to say, so bye.

Presentation

We just recently made a video that was about a presentation for what we have so far on our game. We ended up making two videos because the first one was really bad. I didn't know what to do half way through it, so there was a long pause and the video ended up being awful. The second one we did was pretty good except for the fact that the loud school bell started ringing right in the middle of the video. We didn't want to make another video, so we just used that one. Adding Interaction

We recently added interactions to our game which means that we are getting closer to completing it. Our character can finally move around now. It is looking really good. Our game looks so much better when the characters move. Well there's not much else to say, so see ya.

Sound

We recently started adding sounds to our game and team page. Once again its something that's way more complicated then it needs to be. They really need to try and make it easier to figure out, and the tutorials aren't very much help either. They are pretty hard to understand. The sounds we are finding come from a website that has tons of different noises. Well i guess there's not much more to say. See ya.

Animation is Cool

Animation is very awesome. Making things move around and destroy stuff is cool. I just wonder how they ever thought of making it. Whoever they are, they are a super genius. Destruction in games is so awesome. Games are super fun and awesome, and I hope they never run out of cool ideas.

Favorites So Far

This is my favorite class by far. This class is very fun and exciting. The thing that I have learned in here is how to work with Flash. It has been very fun working with it. The thing I enjoy the most would probably be playing around on Flash, drawing and creating things on there. The only thing that is bad about Flash, is that it is very hard to do certain things on there, such as trying to get objects to go in a certain direction. My least favorite thing so far in this class would be the first few weeks of being in here. We didn't do very much at all, and I thought it wouldn't get very exciting. I would definitely recommend this class to a friend. In fact, I have recommended this class to a friend before, and he did want to join it, but it was to late to get in it when he decided to be in it. I wouldn't suggest this class to a friend if it wasn't good, but this class is awesome and worth being in. I like this class, it is a lot of fun.
